On A More Personal Note

There have been requests for more spiritual and or personal poems. As my older brother often tells me, closed mouths don't get fed. If your mouth is open, well then:
Coming to the stage,

Psychology major and junior at FAU,
Merlyndia Bellevue.

Note: I started to make another attempt at being funny but changed my mind. Poetry Fix is for the readers interpretation unless of course a poem is too straight forward for it to mean anything other then what is said. I’ll let Ms. Bellevue tell her poem.

True Confessions
So tell me…
These thoughts have been weighing on my mind heavily…
Is it the way he walks
Or the way he talks
Is it his seductive smile
Or his funky hairstyle
Is it his tempting bedroom eyes
And how they speak your lies
Is it his passionate voice
That allows you to rejoice
Is it his tender touch
Electrifying sensations never felt as such
Is it the way he calls your name
Forcing your whole body to inflame
Is it his sex appeal
Such intrigue you try to unseal
Is it his enthusiasm
That is able to make a stranger feel so welcome
Is it his tender heart
That caused you to tear us apart
Is it his boyish charm
Reassuring you he's incapable of harm
Is it the way he looks at you
So powerful, he sees through
Is it the way he's able to compose such beautiful lyrics
Associating your every move with rhythmics
Is it his love for foreign cars
Why you took our hope to be one off the radars
Is it because he knew you before me
That provoked you to react so slyly
Is it because he simply exist
Causing you to persist
Is it because he wanted me first
Why you made him coerced
Is it so hard for you to see the harm you've caused
Both forced to silence and our emotions paused

As for those of you who feel deprived, please do the poll on your left hand side (if it is not listed, e-mail me) or to be even more progressive, send in some of your own poetry. Anne Frank comes to my remembrance, when she says, how wonderful it is that one does not have to wait to change the world. And neither does anyone have to wait to change Poetry Fix. But I must be honest this isn’t a complete democracy or poetocracy (lol, funny? no?...aww).

Peace

I think that's wise (and I don't mean that as a personal attack on your sense of humour). Stick with your perfection. Stick with what inspires you. If humour isn't it, don't do it.

Love the post too.
